    Cover crop crimper

    Does anybody use a crimper roller to take out their cover crop? I am thinking about getting one but I don't know which is better. The small 16 inch drum or the big 36 inch drum. Looking for 15 or 20 foot wide crimper. Rye will be the main cover crop.

    Or it starts raining when the fertilizer company brings out 7 tons of corn starter. I got 2 tenths of an inch of rain. Have to see if it rains more on friday

    4490 parts

    I couldn't find one for my 4490 so I went to Menards and bought some 6 inch aluminum ducting. Like you use for a drier. It took a little work to work it down to fit on the air cleaner side but it works great. Steve

    Welding Helmet

    I love my Lincoln auto darkening helmet. I press the test button to check if the battery is good before I use it. The battery is for the first spark then the solar panel takes over.

    2640 hyd issue

    I will look into that. What confuses me is it works good for 5 days then throws a fit and is good for a few days. It gets used for 2 hours every morning and a half hour at night

    2640 hyd issue

    I bought a 2640 with a hi-low powershift last month to feed cattle. It works great... most of the time... every once and a while it loses all hydraulics...even steering. Hydraulics start working again after a minute or so. Have already changed the oil, filter and checked the screenand it still...

    My book said 100 quarts (25 gallons) with 3pt hitch 90 quarts (22.5 gallons) without.

    I have an early 2590 and it has 4 reverse speeds. 4th is really fast.

    It was very nice to meet you and Cheryl. If I would have had my work done I could have showed you around some more and got out some ice cream. Hopefully Jon can get some use out of the parts and they are not wore out from all the hours and miles you are putting on them. Lol Steve
