    If the battery is charged and all is adjusted properly starting fluid isn't nessesary. I haven't bought a can in years. The owners manual for my 7.3 turbo charged diesel says not to use. Almost caught my BIL spraying that junk in my truck last winter. Told him to take it home and leave it there...

    ruce, that's what I did to mine when I rebuilt my carb last spring. That way if I get'er flooded it's a easy way to drain out the gas.

    If you have a 1946 it's a 2N. If you have a 8N could be a 1947.

    What do you have for winter projects lined up???

    Clean up and better organize the shop. Sand down and repaint an old Snap~On 9 drawer hide a face tool box that I bought used 35 years ago. If I really feel froggie I just might do the body work on the hood and fenders on the old 2N and paint them. Or I can just sit in front of the TV , NOT!!!

    31 1/2 if you want stabelizer bars to work they have to be the same.

    Their is a big difference between stay bars and stabelizer bars . Stay bars are adjustable , stabelizer bars for the N fords are 31 1/2 inches from center hole to center hole. Stay bars keep the drawbar at a specific height . Stabelizer bars keeps the lift arms from swaying from side to side.
