    Oliver 880 Turbo Install.....

    You should look for an intake and exhaust from an early 310 which is a non cross flow head design. You can find these motors in the early 1800 tractors and the early 1750 before they went to the cross flow design.

    Is your engine a Perkins? When you are dealing with anything antique, you run into people that want alot of money or you run into someone that wants to get rid of it and could careless about the value, they just want to get rid of it.

    It depends on the rest of the tractor. I don't usually spend any more than $1000 for a tractor with a broken motors. Spun bears usually will mean that you more in likely will have to find a different motor. Engines for an 1850, no matter if it is a 310, or a Perkins are not cheap.

    1650 Cockshutt Tractors

    The Cockshutt 1650, Oliver 1650, 1655, and the White 2-70 are all basically the same tractor. A cab off of a White 2-70 will fit on a Cockshutt 1650. A cab off of a White 2-85 would fit.

    2-70 rebuild

    I own a White 2-70. Only paid $500 because the farmer thought that the engine was seized up, but I found out the preheater simply was disconnected. It took me an hour to get it running and drove it home. It came with a cozy cab, which was an aftermaket option for that particular tractor.

    Is a turbocharger from a 1955T Oliver the same as a turbo from a White 2-105? Will a turbo off of a 2-105 fit a 283 diesel engine? Is alright to put a turbo charged diesel 283 into a 1550 Oliver?
