    Hydro trans. most of the time i have to tap the reverse pedal to get the trans out of low range. is this a indication of worse things to come? HYdro oil is clean and full. thanks.

    pinning, brazing. do a google search for more.

    common problem with those Continentals. if the cracks are at the top of the block a new head gasket might fix the problem. if the block is cracked top and bottom you are scrued. but there are fixes out there.

    i have cleaned and re-packed a few of em over the years. dug out old material with screwdriver (pita) and then re-packed with a stainless kitchen scrubber mesh.
