    OT Windows 8

    Was faced with same dilemma beginning of the year. Took a little while but wife and I got used to windows 8. Still have old computer with XP and have to use it occasionally for old data. Actually prefer windows 8 now.

    Transfer switches

    I have the reliance with 6 circuits. Use two for water pump. The other four cover freezer, refrigerator, kitchen lighting, and furnace. Just enough to cover emergencies. Have outside plug for my 8000 watt generator. Have not needed to use it yet. It was fairly easy to wire.

    Just picked one up last week in Billings,MT. Same deal. I have twenty acres of Ponderosa pines to trim. Getting to old to hold chainsaw over my head.

    cheap hydo fluid at Sams?

    Used the Sams utf when I changed fliud about three months ago in my 2N. So far so good. Live in Montana, hydraulics working fine, but we haven't had the real cold weather yet.

    OT. Quick Question

    Small digital camera case with belt loop and zipper. Keeps it clean and can only come out when I want it to.

    acetone purity

    Get a tube of plumbers goop. fixed black water tanks on two previous rvs. Layer it on. if its a major crack add a small piece of screen as reinforcement. Goop will stick to just about anything.
