    Gas tank too far gone or are there other tricks?

    Have you removed the tank and turned it upside down to drain? If you do that it should remove the majority of the rust and trash. If it doesn't have any holes in the tank, I would put some gas in it and use it as long as it doesn't leak. Good luck.

    Both of my Ford tractors take a 12 volt 4DLT. I recently bought one at our NAPA store for $195. Having several years of experience in working with electrical systems on automobile and farm equipment, I don't use car batteries on tractors because they will not hold up as long as the battery...

    Shell Rotella?

    I have used Rotella T1, 30 weight in my 2 Ford, 3910, 4000, tractors and the lawn mowers for years without any issues. It's a very good oil for hard working engines.

    I run Hankook tires on my BMW sports car and have gotten very good use out of them. We have a Hankook plant about 20 miles away in Tennessee that produces a lot of tires.
