    Thanks for the link. I'm not looking for a market or to develop a product, I just want to make my life easier if it's a low-cost solution. I would just sell the 8N and get something more modern if that were the case. But I love "Old Number 7".

    I'm guessing that's a power steering "conversion" what with the PS pump driven off the front crank pulley (not hooked up). The cat on the exhaust is the clincher, and the water pipe/valve doing God-knows-what. Maybe it has been converted to a closed-loop MegaSquirt injection and has a lambda...

    You are correct. I think the problem lies in the fact that I have the Autozone app on my smurtphone and can see who has the part in stock...but have to go in and repeat the process with the 17-year-old that doesn't know his butt from a hole in the ground. It's not his/her fault - Autozone pays...

    Our NAPA here is a dump. I decided to try something else after I got sick of having to take back Autozone's DURALAST parts after inevitable failure. I have to drive to Saginaw to get any parts, but here in Frankenmuth, our Auto Value store isn't half-bad. The Car Quest is ok, but is only open...

    Hey-oh. Haven't posted all winter...the 8N and my three-point plow kept the farm clean through the hardest Michigan winter we've had in a long time. No issues all winter - I must have done something right when going through it. The new Canadian-style tire chains sure were worth the $$, too...

    Log dragging with the 3-point...

    I've seen people building pole-type three-point implements for dragging logs...but I decided to try the crane portion of my auger out...and success. Dragged a 40-foot straight section of oak out of the deep woods with very little issue. Not a very good pic, but more tomorrow if the sun...

    O/T: Winchester Model 94

    Take the wood off, strip it and then oil it up good with multiple coats of linseed oil. It's all we've ever used on my grampy's '94 in 32 Winchester Special. Hornady just started making a semi-FMJ for it that actually works...it's an oddball caliber but I love the gun.
