Frozen Injector or?
It turned out to be the fuel filters. I cracked each injector, but couldn't narrow the miss down to an individual cylinder. There was a small amount of water in the sediment filter, along with a lot of rust paste. I forgot that this tractor came with fuel system issues when we got it years ago... -

Our 345d (201 3cyl) was running fine when parked in the garage a few days ago. We got it out to run the snowblower this morning and it's running on 2 cylinders. It has a block heater and started on the first crank. I suspect something is frozen in the fuel system. I don't see how there could be... -

Ford 860 loss of oil pressure
Our 860 has always had good oil pressure until yesterday. I got on it to move it and the gauge was reading around 5 psi at a high idle. It is maybe a quart low. I haven't done any troubleshooting on it yet. Has anyone experienced this? I am planning to run the oil pump with a drill and try a... -

Ford 861 Clutch
On the last one I did, those shims didn't even align with the bolt pattern of the flywheel,(so you couldn't put them in if you wanted to). -

Try opening the bleeder on the pump (while it's running). It's about a 3/8 Allen, if I recall. I do remember that it is the one facing the engine, such that no normal Allen wrench or socket will fit. I keep a piece of an Allen wrench cut about 3/4 long in my tool box for occasions like this... -

Installing sleeves in ford tractors
If you do install them yourself, you will need mics and a bore gauge to make sure your bore / piston clearance is in spec. There is a very good chance that you will need to take the block to a machine shop anyway, unless you have a boring machine. Not to mention, it is not hard to crack sleeves... -

Ford 6610 Hydraulics
I had a feeling that running the blower off of the remotes would be hard on the tractor hydraulics. Looks like I'll have to stick with the original plan of running it off of the mower setup. I appreciate the advice. -

Since the blower will be attached to the loader, it will be necessary to make adjustments with the loader with the blower running. Does anyone foresee a problem with that? Being a boom mower tractor, it has a lot of hydraulic parts on it. I'm wondering where would be the best place to tap in... -

It's a Tiger Special (boom mower tractor). It has 3 hydraulic pumps that I know of. The mower runs off of a front mounted pump and puts out over 30gpm, so I am told. Apparently this is too much for a blower and would require a flow control valve which puts the excess fluid back to tank. The... -

Would it be advisable to run a hydraulic snow blower off the hydraulics of a 6610 with dual pumps. 18gpm would meet the specs of the blower. I am not sure if a continuous flow attachment running from the same system that is used for the dual power and the loader will cause a problem or... -

4000 - Different Builds?
You may want to consider the 3000 series as well, if you're considering an early 4000. No wet brakes, but many improvements over the older tractors IMO. -

Ford 3000 anti sway bars
That looks correct from what I can see. I prefer the turnbuckle style, but that would likely involve drilling your lift arms (hard steel).
