    That"s kinda what I thought. I"m used to working on 2cyl deeres an those are set with throttle wide open an carb wide open. An governor rod is 1/2 hole short meaning the governor will pull carb wide open before its out of throw. Just wondering. Thanks for the info

    So I built a UB for a mild puller. About 420 cubes. I am using a zenith carb from another application. Was wondering what the correct adjustment for governor to carb linkage is? Have it set up with carb wide open an governor wide open the rod fits in. Is this correct as my service manual...

    Putting together a u with 9.5:1 compression and about 420 cubes. What should I run for spark plugs. I prefer autolite or NGK. Thanks

    josh or ray 39 b block max bore

    I have a 39 b block in a tractor with the original flat head an 530 pistons .045 over. Holding up just fine. Its currently in a 42 b an pulls in the farm class. Not sure how much thickness is left. Might depend on any pitting from the back side.

    So I"m putting a 6" g crank in a u. Using 4 5/8 jugs an pistons from a 336 engine. I"m wondering what to use for rods.
