New build. What gear to run?
We are building a Farmall 400 with a D360 converted to gas. On 18.4 x 38s. 7000lb Open RPM no speed limit. Down draft 500 cfm carb. Ring and pinion is 50/19. What gear range should we be looking to run or install? Is stock 3rd or 4th enough?- Super Duper M

Farmall M weight
So what did you do to get Super M to 5000# if u still have belly pump and pto and all cast wheels? Ours weighs 5650# with all that. I should add that it does have a wide front end that could be shifted to narrow. Anyone know how much weight that would shave?- Super Duper M
