Steering wheel restoration on my John Deere 650 1987.
The wheel is just sun damage. No cracks just discolored in places. I read there is a chemical process to restore the plastic to look better. Is this better than repainting. Or what about Truck bed liner. Let me know what you guys do.- swattley

Got a few thing I want to do first on this John Deere 650 compact it needs a new set the seat wobble vey bad. Seem the rubber inside the seat bracket collar is not correct size. Can the rod and two rubber bushings still be purchased. I see lots of options to change to new angle brackets. I go to...- swattley

I knew the name yanmar from the Marine industry, they suppose to be great running engines. I hope to make it as good as my ford 4000SU- swattley

Don’t know much at all about the J D product, I know the engine is built in Japan maybe the whole tractor. I would like to find an operator and service manual. And best location for parts. It needs a new seat and rollers under or part of seat frame. One tire rear brake is stuck on. Looking for...- swattley

THE STAR WASHER DOES NOT FIT INTO THE HOLE FOR THE ROTOR. IT IS SLIGHT TOO BIG AND WILL NOT LAY FLAT. PURCHASD HERE. -

Yes it is does have the tab to lock in place. I was just surprised to see the fiber washer and star washer to fit under the rotor inside the top of the dust cap round top. Hope I explained correctly. -

I guess I always assumed the router end would touch the plug terminals or be very close. The big problem is the tractor is up in the mountains 2 hrs from here. And try to prepare everything and have correct sucks. -

ok got my parts from this site. i see something i may have overlooked. i order the dust cap for the distributor. mine was cracked w/ big hole. when i was testing try to start i left the dust cover off. now i see there is some fiber washer and a large star washer in the center portion where the... -

I like this coil. I have had great luck with blue streak points in my boat. The ford has them and all Standard IGN items cap, rotor. They out last the china version. -

I got passed the no crank solenoid chatter. Replace ground cable. But question to forum is what coil go is on this 70 4000, still has generator Blue streak points cap & roter in good shape I think. Ok now tractor cranks over great. Battery end thrown in woods, clean everything and will replace both cables soon as it running. She will not start. Cap rotor still look new. Point are BLUE STEAK P & Rotor very low hours. Points have slight cloud on surface but no pitting or arc. With a test... -

That what I found. Under some heavy nice quality shrink tube exposed the two 7/16 bolts and cheap metal plate. I have a ford 1970 4000 sub with front loader. Since this is my first tractor when I first started to operate the up & down it was very jerky. Thanks I have a Snapon remote starter switch at home. That good idea, I just go battery 12v to starter stud. And I take battery home to give it long slow charge.
