J D 420C....... Want to adjust allignment of track frame on crawler. Any advice on getting clamp bolts loose?

I may have gotten lucky but I just removed my track frame cramps by working them back and forth with a strong impact wrench. I did have the track split at this time as I was removing the final drive.

How long did your restoration take?

I just raise 10 to 12 steers a year, i get day old calves from a local smaller farmer that likes all kinds of breeds so the steers are hinz 57 verity. The guy does like lineback cattle so I normally have a few of them. Plus lots of other colors in the pens. It keeps me out of trouble and helps...

How long did your restoration take?

The 630 took about two years to fix what was needed and paint, the only issues where hydlics needed some work requiring removal, and the radiator casting where it holds the muffler was busted. The M took around 9 years, it was engine rebuild, bored, crank ground and head rebuilt. The final...

    H Farmalls--Show of hands...

I have one, used for odd jobs like fencing, and running an auger. Used two to make one. One with a good engine and bad fifth the other where some one changed oil but didn't fill right away. This was done around 20 years ago with my grandpa, it is also the first tractor I painted.

    350 and 46 in action

No modifications made to the baler. Tension needs to be backed off from hay and I run the pickup higher to keep some dirt out of the machine. It is hard on the baler due to the material. You also have to watch the pickup since that will plug due to stalks not feeding due to buildup. It is not a...

    350 and 46 in action

The guy that harvests the crop has a chopping head. So I just have to take the fodder. Only have 10 acres so it wouldn't pay to have a machine of my own. It is interesting I plant with a 2 row and it is harvested with an 8 row.

I do not have an elevator for the bales, they get stacked on the ground in a pole shed, or left on the wagon outside until used up. They are used for bedding for the steers that I raise.

    350 and 46 in action

Figured you might want to see some red power in action. Made between 4 and 500 bales the last couple days. Baler worked good may have been a little tight as it was missing the over the top string occasionally.

John Deere corn planter 7000 2 row

I got the parts for adding fertilizer when I bought mine. The install was no too bad. I would recommend getting one already installed if you go that route. Also one with the transmission will give you more options. Mine has one speed for fertilizer and corn an adjustment of one impacts the...

John Deere corn planter 7000 2 row

Depending on the conversation the weight could vary. The one I have has the fertilizer in the insecticide boxes. You should not have to worry on the weight. Mine is run with a farmall 350. I plant 10 acres with it for production. I modified the hookup to match the fastpitch 3 point conversion...
