    O.T. Car electrical problem.

    A couple of weeks ago my headlights started to flicker.A few days later the alternator went.Replaced the alternator and now it,s starting to do the same thing??The alt. is putting out 14.7v.And the amp output increases with load.Checked the wiring and everthing looks good.Any idea's.The auto...

    Besides the usual mechanical items check and see how loose is the circle and blade linkages/connections. Being from the 60's they will probably be pretty sloppy unless they have been rebuilt.

    Take a 4' level. place on uphill slope, hold it level and measure distance down to ground from the opposite end of the level on downhill side.     Ready mix vs. mix your own

    I would go with ready mix if available. Assuming the pier are 18" diameter you have almost 5 cy of concrete. That's a lot of bags to mix. Now if you have lots of time and can do them at your leisure you could try the bag mix. I would vote against using rubble etc for filler just because of the...
