    55' Ferguson TE(AD)20

As time goes by, tractor receives some updates every now and then. I changed the original PTO-shaft to standard sized, so i wouldnt need to use adapter. Urgent need came when i bought a sickle mower to mow my field. Actually, bought two. The one in pictures was bought just for spares for the...

    T20 fergie,hard steering

My steering box was leaking aswell, you could refill it and look it seeping past seals slowly during weeks. I, like i see many else, fixed the situation by pumping it full of NLGI 0 consistency ( pick your favourite) grease. Works like a charm, and dont seep past. No more leakages, and ateering...

Tractor been earning its keep. Weekly it has some work to carry out. Laid the boat back on the lake from winter hibernation. I use my self-build boat trailer as a dock in summer times, just take wheels off to barn. Its made out of fairly stout pre-painted RHS, should last my lifetime without...

Lovely wife took an picture. Which is, somehow, again turned 90 degree from the photo on my phone.. But, this cotter pin is then after all original? Can be seen before that "hump". That would be good news, but needs fixing that leak anycase at some point. Not in a hurry, original or not ( hole).

What exactly are these furrow ploughs?

Got answer from Finlands agricultural museum. Response in short was, that Fiskars indeed made 3-point furrow ploughs under licence, since they wanted in the market, and Ferguson plows were best ones available back then. Thats it. Next to my own comments about subject. Before that and by side...

    Welder question s

Interesting. We use MAG ( "MIG") welding due to ease of use and productivity, welding thicker stuff. What needs to stay on. Rutile flux cored wires ( which needs gas shield aswell). Cant see how stick welding would be faster than feeding wire with 4T. Cant remember when welded last time with...

No i havent, since havent had any need to do so. Only bigger project on the pipe is leaking gearbox case ( pin hole), fixing it properly or changing the gearbox altogether. Now it drips a drop of oil every now and then. But not in a hurry with it, either.

What exactly are these furrow ploughs?

Fiskars wont give even an paint code to furrow ploughs they made in 70's, at their own without license. No dice to get any information from 50's especially from stuff they made by licence. Local histtory preserving at farming machinery produced limits to their production time, then they are...
