Deere 820 duel fuel filter issue

Thanks Matthies. I had the vent open when trying to prime it. I closed it up after I gave up, took the picture and called it a day.

Deere 820 duel fuel filter issue

I have a John Deere 820 with a AR66294 duel fuel filter. The tractor had been sitting for years without being used. It started and would die after 10-20 seconds. I cleaned out the fuel tank, fuel lines leading to injection pump, return lines, and replaced both filters on the AR66294 with NAPA...

John Deere 245 loader won't rise completely

Thanks to everyone for your input. Special thanks to Jim who explained how the boom functions and identified the problem. I disconnected and reconnected the hose coupler for the boom lift and it solved the problem. You guys are an awesome resource!

John Deere 245 loader won't rise completely

Thank you for explaining how the boom functions. I'll try to disconnect and reconnect the couplers. Regarding the Summit diverter: it is connected to the curl lines for the loader. It allows me to switch between curl and pinch with the grapple.

John Deere 245 loader won't rise completely

Thank you for all the feedback. I'll try to clarify what I meant. The back segments of the boom rise normally under full load regardless of the curl. When the back segments have risent fully, the front arms should start to rise and the boom should straighten out a bit adding to the overall...

John Deere 245 loader won't rise completely

I have a John Deere 245 loader on a 2755 tractor. Lately, the boom does not go up like it did before. The loader lifts very heavy loads Ok until the back part of the boom is all the way up. Normally, the front part of the boom (forearm) would rise at this point but it does not. The front booms...

JD 2755 3rd Function or Diverter

Thanks to everyone for the guidance. I was able to hook up a Summit diverter to the curl function. This allowed me to use a grapple. A huge work saver for cleaning up fallen limbs in my pecan orchard.

    2755 dies when warmed up

Thank you both for your help. Is the "feed pump" shown as the "transfer pump" in the parts diagrams?

    2755 dies when warmed up

My 2755 recently started conking out after its been running a while. It has a new air filter, fuel filter, and the temperature gauge seems to be working and has never reached red. If I let it sit for a few minutes it starts right up and runs for a while. Then it happens again. Any guildance...

JD 2755 3rd Function or Diverter

Thank your for you advice. I installed a Summit diverter on the curl circuit downstream from the pressure relief vavle located on the boom. It's slow, but seems to be working well otherwise. I've been using a tree puller and grapple to clear my pastures of Hardy Orange and locust trees. I've...

Thank you for the input. Can you tell me what the lever is for on the bottom of the SCV?
