860 remote hydraulic help
Thanks for the info. I think there is a valve or something sticking in the hydraulics, bumping the leaver seems to create more pressure in the system causing the lift to start working. Lift works okay after it gets the bump. -

Ford 600 steering
Had/have the same issue with my 640, hard turning both direction, not so much digging in. Here s what I did that helped. Wheel bearings where loose, tighten. Adjust toe, forgot measurements but there on line or in the manual,This helped the most. Adjusted sector screws, they were binding on... -

Help with buying a restored Ford 800
My understanding is that its not running, old gas, no battery... so I can't check operation. To everyone's point my concern is what's under the pretty exterior. Sounds like the grandpa is no longer around and the relatives are selling off his stuff. If the answers don't ad up when I get there... -

Help with buying a restored Ford 800
Going to look at a restored 800 tomorrow. Seller says it was a show tractor that his grandfather restored. Only 4 hours on the meter since restored but it hasn't ran for a couple of years. Seller didn't seem to have much knowledge or info about the tractor, couldn't even tell me what model 800... -

Ferguson 9B0-20 chisel plow
Not to hijack the thread but does anyone know where to get replacement springs for the 9bo-20 tiller. There is one for sale locally for $300 that's in okay shape but I'm worried about finding replacement springs if needed. Seller says its in good working condition but is pretty heavily rusted...- TDN72
