    Sounds like compression is getting the coolant. The head studs are probably stock and stretching under a load.

    Yes it is a inline filter I have them on all my pulling tractors and the ones I use on the farm and have never had a problem be for as long as the float is down it runs a full stream threw the filter but the filter never fills up like it should.

    I am working on my neighbors 60 it will run out of fuel if you let it set it will start and run awhile and do the same thing. I have made sure the line has no obstructions in it. If you take the bowl off the carb and turn on the gas it is getting some fuel but the clear filter never get...

    Yes checked timing tried chocking it tried not chocking it if you pour a cup of fuel in it it will start rite up.

    I have a 60 and it is almost impossible to start I have changed points and condenser and rebuilt the carburator removing the stainless steel balls to clean all passages and the only way I can get it to start is to dump gas down the intake pipe several times once it fires and run a bit it runs...

    Unstyled B

    My son has got his unstyled B in the shop and wants to build it I have a styled for parts not sure of year the tag is missing and from what I have found the later one had bigger motors is it worth the effort to put the later motor in his unstyled tractor? Thanks for any advice.
