Two breakers share the same neutral

This was commonly used on kitchen circuits in my area. The tab between the receptacles was broken so the top and bottom receptacle were separated. Then the microwave could be plugged into the top receptacle and the toaster oven in the bottom and both could be run at the same time. The...

_Some help understanding my multimeter please.

That is approximately the right readings for a 6 v coil but also check between each connector and the outside case. There should not be any continuity between the case and the connections. From Google Normal DC resistance readings for a 6-volt ignition coil typically fall within the following...

    The one time

I don't know what system you are using, but the simplest thing to do is turn the power off of your modem/router, wait a few minutes, and then power it back on. See if your Wi-Fi is working. If that does not work, call your provider.

    Ting electrical monitor

I had never heard of Ting and looked it up on Google. The main advantage of Ting is it can detect arcing in your electrical system. Arcing is the source of many house fires. Most codes require Arc Fault circuit breakers in bedrooms today and some include the whole house. I would certainly...

    Not a What's-It. Maybe a Why-For?

Most of the old TV repairmen used a double-adjustable wrench in the disassembly of the cabinets and chassis. There was a mix of 3/8 and 7/16 nuts and bolts. One end was set for 7/16 and the other 3/8. You only needed one wrench in your tube caddy.
