    TSX 308,is the correct carb. Watch out, some parts people hear only Massey and 30 and you will end up with TE-30 and TO-30 Ferguson kits. Ask me how I know!

    Asking this for a friend, would anyone know the transmission oil capacity, and the type of recommended lubricant I believe the hydraulic system holds 10 quarts, would an oil like HY-TRAN or JD HY-guard be appropriate for use in it? Thanks'

    3/8 or 1/2 inch plate, cutting torch, and leave a 16 inch lug on one side to hit with a sledge hammer. A lot of my big tools are home made.

    Never saw a really good stand of corn till we bought a 7000 JD planter. A IH 285 worked well with pinto beans and sugar beets.

    Somethings never change

    Know what you mean, my mom is 103 and in the same condition. She used to drive truck during silage and beet harvest. Never could get her on a tractor! I'd love to take her and show how things have changed, but she seems happy in the home she's at now.

    Servo pressure should be checked. All functions are controlled by the oil supplied to them by the servo system.
