    thanks jim, Its a gas engine so i run 30w in it as sepc'd in the manual. As for overheating, ill have to look into whether its warped as you say it could be.

    Maple syrup

    I make it here in Pa. Its not too hard to get into, many local hardware stores have the supplies for tapping and i use mason jars for canning it. As far as boiling i use an old heating oil tank that i cut the top off of and i got a pan that was my neighbors dads. check craigslist for old pans...

    New pto safe design connectors

    I don't understand why they had to change it. I have a new idea brush hog that has the push button style coupler and ive never had it come off, and i certainly dont have trouble getting it on. Much simpler and easier.

    Does anybody know where I can find replacement fenders for a Case IH 485? Ive tried all the usual spots and had no success. Are all the 85/95 series tractors basically the same and could i get away with fenders from a 585 or 395? Or best case yet, do all of the similar tractors with the rear...

    How can farmers justify to purchase new tractors ?

    well I can say that I wont ever have enough money to buy new. All I know is that wear I live its gas country and that if you have enough money to buy new it can help you process a lot as far as time/fuel/and labor cost.
