    5th of july crop report

Wow, that's a hard one to deal with. As both are of the grass family, they have good ability to recovering some, how much, as you said, wait and see. We're all in the gambling business with the weather.

Literature---1978 WHITE 4-210 Field Boss Tractor Brochure

I've driven a Steiger with the 3208 motor and currently use a White 2-135. The 4-210 would be a really nice driving/operating tractor.

    Paint / Rust Removal

You will find an air driven Needle Scaler to be one of the easiest and cleanest methods to remove rust, especially on cast parts. You can search/find ones at Harbor Frieght. Do get an extra set of needles. To hold metal from rusting back, apply a rust converter and then prime with red oxide...

    Out in the clover field.

It's really difficult here too, as we have high humidity and weather guesstimaters who constantly cover themselves with chances of rain. It hadn't rained for a couple weeks so the ground was as dry as could be and a "cold" front had went through, so we had a cool dry breeze with sunshine.

    Out in the clover field.

Couldn't cut the red clover when it needed it as rain was continually predicted but never came. Just a little stemy, but later, the cows ate a small failed bale like candy. It was thick so had daughter run a tedder on it to help dry. The weather was perfect, in the low 70's with a nice breeze...

Instrument Panel From A Case 801

It will definitely fit but the speedometer and tachometer will not read exact as the gearing may be different. The oil and amp should read the same, the fuel, I'm not sure.

    Cutting hay...

Looks thick and should make plenty of bales. Had the same here and got more hay than expected. The good thing is it rained 1 1/2" yesterday and today so it should recover quickly.

Center ramp for narrow front end

Loaded narrow fronts many times both ways, the middle board is much easier. Made my ramps with a bolted on piece of angle iron that hooked over the metal angle iron going across the end of the trailer. No more scooting ramps.

    Case 188D

Rebuilt the gas version of the 188 in the tractor avatar to the left with John's coaching. It's always the fastest tractor in the parade. Saeli 315-585-9826

    350 Crawler on another job

Can appreciate your lack of rain. Haven't had more than a sprinkle since the last time I mowed hay, and then got enough to ruin it. Did get hay put up yesterday, now if some rain would show up, all would be well. Soybeans are not sprouting because the ground is too dry. We all operate on faith...

Case 530 triple range gear oil & hydraulic fluid

The torque tube (hydraulic reservoir) and triple range gears are sharing the same oil. The fill and oil level check is on the left side of the transmission next to the hand clutch lever. The pipe coming up out and forward from that area with a two inch cover is a vent and can be screwed off at...

    Drilling soybeans with 800B

Got an armfull of reasons why I'm late planting but goterdone Saturday at dark. Spent over 9 hours on tractors that day going over this field. It had grown up into a two foot tall (38 acres) weed patch being late in season. The 800B was actually a fun drive be it a long one. The dust wasn't too...
