    Fades terribly and since a trailer will sit most likely in the sun, it would do it within a couple years. Painted a horse trailer with red Rustoleum once, it is now a dull pink.

    If the ck models are like their predecessors, the steering u-joint under the left side of the radiator should be checked for wear. If so, I have a few suggestions to aid in removal.

    Longest pocket tape measure I have ever seen

    As more weight usually follows size, it would be dangerous to clip that big of tape on my belt. When one is shaped like a penguin, pants tend to slip down, and with that much weight, it could be instantaneous.

    Depends on what you want the final appearance to be. How much rust? I spray everything but it requires a good preparation for an original look that lasts.

    Your under dash looks very orderly compared to the usual scenario. Don't have a book on the "newer" ck series, so no help there. The dash lights are available but are pricey. Try to sand blast or use a rust kill, paint with aluminum/chrome and check continuity. I'm so tight, people reach for...

    If you can saw horse/teeder toder the tank, a dog chain with a cord tied to it for retrieval, will scrub the bottom for you.

    It's not only the seemingly endless effort but the cramping of fingers and hand, the aching back, and maddening knowledge that your only a 1/2 degree off but what direction. We all can feel your butt kicking.

    Little things a guy overlooks, oil the distributer and oil your tachometer and speedometer cables.

    You did alright, if the motor was taken as good of care as the body, it was worth the money. I'm always interested in these auctions and glad I wasn't there because I would have come home with one or two, can't resist.

    Current Update on Poison Hemlock investigation.

    The weed is really not too hard to control, but does require vigilance and a determination to be rid of it. I can proudly say there's none on my property or the 3/4 mile highway frontage that is the usual source of my troubles.

    Replacement....

    Enough failures on 300 to 630 rubber torsion springs (replaced by warranty) convinced me to add help under the seat to absorb severe shocks from ruts, etc. I stuff open cell foam blocks under the seats and ended that problem. On my show/parade tractor, I painted the foam to match and no one notices.
