    I have an Onan CCK on a miller welder. It is rope start and I want to know if I can find a flywheel with a ring gear and put a starter on it? I assume I would need to change the oilpan also. What all would it take to do this. It's mag ignition also and I'm wondering if that may cause problems...

    I"m working on an 8N for my boss. I recently got it running and it has problems. It didn"t have compression on 2 and 4 cylinders.     I have a C with a B adjustable wide front. I cut the arm off on the steering box but left the round splined part on the box and then cut the arm off of a B box and welded it to the splined part of the C and ground it smooth and it looks factory. The arm must point up or it will steer backwards...

    WD or WD45?

    Is it a wide front? If so does it have 3 or 4 bolts on the very front of the gearbox to hold the frontend in place. Late 45"s had 4 bolts and wd"s and early 45"s had 3 bolts.
