    Rough Value of a MF30 loader backhoe

    Actual working value as a machine is probably 7,000. Finding a buyer willing to pay more than 3,000 is gonna be tough. Old backhoes that aren't a case 580 or Deere 310 just don't bring any money. Be ready for some ignorant low-ball offers.

    Painted top of cab white

    There is a big time excavating contractor here that paints the roof white on every piece of equipment they own. Probably over 150 units now. Mostly because it helps keep the black cabs cooler but it's also clear who's equipment is out there working. I've been told it makes a huge difference...

    One Owner Farmall H and IH 186 Hydro sold Saturday

    My Uncle had his retirement sale on Saturday. Finally retired from making hay at 91. The Farmall H he and his brothers bought new in 1951. They bought the Hydro 186 new in 1979. The H sold for $4100 and the 186 went for $29,000.

    First thing to do is have a price in mind. What do you realistically want for your collection? Second thing is cut that number by about 60-75%. That's most likely the offers you will get to take the whole thing at once. You can sell them all at auction but 200 lots isn't enough for one sale...
