I don’t have any lights that light up on the dash. Maybe I should track down the burnt bulb first. Learning so much on here. Need to figure out which one it is and how to get to it.

Thanks for this. I will probably go this route. It’s going to be down for a bit when I pull it so I need to find a good time to do so. Right now I just charge up the battery in between uses.

Did you go with a bolt on cutting edge AND individual teeth separately? This bucket is worthless for even scooping relatively soft dirt or gravel so I need to do some upgrading ASAP. Have been looking at tooth bars or individual teeth but not a bolt on edge AND individual teeth. Is there any...

I measured the voltage with the engine on at the battery terminals to determine the alternator was bad. Is there another test I should do to check if the regulator is fault too? Or replace the alternator first.

Is the regulator part of the alternator or is it located somewhere else? I don’t really care about it being all original as long as I don’t hurt it or compromise it’s usefulness.

I think my alternator is bad. I’m only at 12.8V when idling and even revving up to 1800 rpms or so. Here is the existing alternator. Grok is telling me I should look into a delco 3 wire alternator upgrade and I thought I’d ask if this is something that’s actually recommended and worth doing...

Yes. I really like it. I rented a trailer and picked it up last week. I’ve mowed our 5 acre lawn and even did some brush hogging with it so far and it’s just awesome. I ordered a skid steer quick attack mechanism and plate and I’m going to rig it for the bucket here soon. I also have the rigid...

Hold on… I’m trying to figure out what you’re talking about. Which adjustable stabilizers? Currently there are two of the chain type stabilizers. One on each lift arm. If I install these LH and RH rigid ones then I can remove the chain type, right?

If you use this stabilizer system, do you still need the chain type stabilizers?

I got my hand controls fitted and was able to mow my property today. Wow is all I can say. Granted I coming from a 60's Deere 2010 with broken power steering, a 3pt that was either all the way up or all the way down depending on its mood... but I was smiling the whole time. I'm very happy with...

Can you post a link for that? I can't find the one for the ford 4600 here on the site.

So that has a bracket on the right side frame that supports the lift arms and keeps them from swaying

Brough home this beauty yesterday. Everything looks good on it. The engine was rebuilt a couple years ago. The guys name who did it are penned onto the valve covers. The oil still looks brand new. The old man I bought it from even went and bought me a bucket for it at the local auction. No...

And it appears that parts are available when something like that happens. I’m not afraid of a project but with my 2010 it just wasn’t possible to find replacements.
