Hydraulic relief valve
what's the best way to test to see if my hydraulic relief valve is set correctly? I change the pinion and added the bigger hydraulic pump for 1650-1850 and I have not changed my relief valve settings- theking5983

If I wanted to put a wider tire and rim on my 1550 would I have to switch my hubs I notice most of the wider tire and rims setups I have seen have a smaller bolt pattern on the hub? now that i got the steering straightened out fixed the pitman arm also the manual steering box is it filled with...- theking5983

Hydraulic pump whining
I did two new gaskets and no I have a 1550 I used the pinion gear from a 1650 so I could use a 1650-1950 hydraulic pump because finding a 1550 9 tooth pump was one hard to find and the few I found were expensive and the newer style pump has a few more gallon per min flow from what I was told...- theking5983

Hydraulic pump whining
can hear the pump at all times idle or when I am using the loader I am not sure if it is a whining now or if it is just the noise the pump makes I replace the pump with the pump for the 1650 so I changed the gear that drives the pump to fit the new pump I replaced the bearings and races, used...- theking5983

will try that I noticed the pitman arm has a little bit of play to it as well it there a bushing in them in the parts manual it looks like there is a bushing, also if anyone has any idea on a replacement power steering pump that would fit the setup on there this one is weak and noisy- theking5983

t is pretty loose the u joints in the linkage have some play and like I said above 15mph the wheels start to turn back and forth by themselves,- theking5983

thank u, and my 1550 has a pump that runs of the Hydra drive it sits right next to the distributor I cannot find any info about it? question 2 is my steering cylinder has not lines that run to it and there is no line on the tractor for it I see in all the rebuild videos they have hydraulic lines...- theking5983
