Identify tractor
Hi is there anybody that can help me identify a tractor I just purchased.I think it is a 1950.It has a side dist.There is no serial # on the left side but there is a identification plate on the right rear side that reads.Ford industrial engine serial #1192-G2-CB/ Type 4-2510.Any help would be...- mike liermann

battery or alternator?
I replaced the battery on my diesel IH674 9 months ago. Been running and starting fine. Left it sit for a week, and when I first went to start it, it cranked real slow then fired right up, like a weak battery. After that it wont"t start at all. float control for rear grader blade atteachment
can anyone explain to me what the float control on my 1956 ford 800 series model 850 does and how do i use it? I'm new to this game and this tractor and the seller mentioned it was a nice option if I knew how to use it. unfortunatelly, he didnt and couldnt explain it.- thenewguy
