    Ford 4500 injector pump

I see u have a NAPA fuel filter.. Did u put the large Oring ON the filter.?? IF u put it ON the filter, u chocked off the fuel.. The Oring MUST GO "UP IN" THE FILTER HED.. NOT "ON" the filter.. I hope this helps..

    Rookie deer hunting question

The way I was taught was.. Shoot, listen, smoke a cigarette, THEN track it.. when u find it.. ALWAYS ALWAYS.. poke your barrel into it eye to see if its alive.. NOT drive it in.. just poke it.. IF no movement.. FILL OUT THE TAG & PIN IT & start draggin'.. IF there is movement, a close-up shot...

    Stanadyne DM4 John Deere 4230

The seals are pressed in to a certain depth, using a special seal installer tool, which requires the pump to be completely disassembled. There are 3 of us on this forum that do that type of work..

Not happy with Ford 3000 starting

The timing is adjustable, thru the front.. theres a timing line on the pump hub & a boss that sticks out from the pump face w/ a timing line on it..{around 12-1:00 looking at the front of the pump} U set your engine at ?? * & loosen the bolts in the gear & line up the 2 timing marks.. The...

    1066 injection pump

Lets start over.. when u put the pump on ORIGINALLY.. Obviously u saw the pointer on the pump & a timing line on the pump drive, right? When u got the pump back, was the drive shaft LOCKED onto the pointer mark.?? IF NOT, how did u line up the hub mark inline w/ the pointer.?? Are u SURE the...

    826 injection pump

To answer the question.. NO, its not something u can do yourself. UNLESS, u have Bosch VA experience. & to be done correctly, the pump needs to come off the machine. & you'll have a hard time finding anyone willing to fix JUST the throttle leak.. cuz you'll be pulling it off again for another...

    1066 injection pump

U can remove the side cover on the inj. pump, 4 flathead screws. Look inside & you should see a line on the gear inside coming around when your on or coming up to #1 compression stroke. NO line in the window means your not on #1.. The line inside the pump wont be centered, its just to tell u...

    Massey 135 Diesel won't run

Take a scribe or something small & press it into the pistons on the outlet banjo bolts.. just to make sure they're not stuck.. The problem w/ u doing your own rebuild is> u need a special tool to get the rotor separated from the head.. seeing that's where the pumping plungers are..behind the...

    Dieseltech

If pulling the pump is not an option..{not smart} Then plug off the overflow drain {pig tail} & fill the pump full of ATF & acetone thru the big plug on top. Let it sit for a day or 3.. pull the stop & bump the engine over a few revs.. TRY to move the rack back & forth BY HAND till it frees up...

    Boost power 424 diesel

Don't forget about the inj. pump & injectors.. No sense in doing an overhaul & putting the most important parts back on, un-repaired..

JD 2030 low rpm at full throttle

Look closely at the throttle & MAKE SURE its hitting the stop screw.. The linkage is known to loosen up over time & not get full travel. The idle can be adjusted w/ its stop screw also..DONT mess w/ the hi speed screw.. BUT it sounds as if dirt/water has made its way where its not supposed to...
