    Yes I unhooked the throttle lever and foot throttle mine looks more like this and both springs are intact

    Yes the centrifugal force is not being applied to the linkage to force the throttle plate closed I put PB blaster on the pivot point but it’s always moved by hand I’m hoping not to take the front of the engine apart

    Case 530 (540) gas row crop Disconnected all the rods going to the governor and with a slight pull of the rod going to the carb the engine goes over 2000 rpm with no fight back from the governor. If it is the governor does the front of the engine have to come apart My first case
