    Thanks, It is a three speed, but it also has a side mount distributor which I have been told was only on 8n's.

    I just recently aquired what I believe is a 2n of 9n. However, the serial number I found behind the starter reads as follows NJ140 directly below those reading vertically is the number 8N-B. Can anyone help me to identify this? Thanks
