    Pivot pin bushing removal

    I did mine by welding a couple quick beads inside the old bushing. The bushing will shrink when it cools down. The beads need to be fast and not weld through the bushing.

    The copper strip (in the distributor) I replaced with the copper strip from a old set of points. This may not be the correct OEM way or the wire way, but it worked. In fact I have used it that way for a very long time.
