    The item I have been trying to explain is a magneto rotor. The orginal part numbers that I need are 040JM and 101JMA It is a Case 4-JMA Magneto. Where to locate??? Tim Fisher

    To my knowledge it is the original magneto. This part slides in under the mag cap and meshes with the gear on the mag. Then a set screw tightens it in. I dont even know what it is called or where to begin to find where to get one. I will be more than happy to take better pictures if someone...

    Well it appears the reluctant wheels teeth have broke off within the mag. it fires when the tooth catches. anyone have any ideas where to get that "wheel"?? Thanks

    I have found out that I have the original mag distributer points and condenser. I found a tractor shop about 50 miles from here that has the parts I need. I was unable to find anything online anywhere that seem kind of weird.
