    I saw a duster taking off from the local airport yesterday, it has been a busy year for them here in Michigan. Last week one of the pilots put one down in the trees. He was in the hospital but ok I think.

    I have no problem wit the golf carts, it is some of the rude inconsiderate people that drive some of them.     Air Tank - Aluminum VS Steel

    I think I would trust the aluminum tank farther than the steel. I am on supplemental O2 and it is supplied at 2200 psi in aluminum tanks. Remember these tanks are for portable use.

    1 to 3 phase conversion

    I have built several from .5 hp to 20 hp. Mine use a contactor, a relay, some capacitors and a 3 phase motor. They start easy and have low idle current. We even ran a CNC mill on one by making sure the controls were tied to the natural phase. steve.

    How to wire ignition (not a tractor)

    Crazy idea but how about two 6V coils in series with a 12V condenser. The 6V coils should be about 2 ohms each which would be about what your 12V coil is now.

    Lincoln 225AC welder - anyone ever fry one?

    I have seen 2 let out the magic smoke and I think operator error was the cause. One was run way over the duty cycle and the other was caught between steps/ The one I have was purchased new in 1968 for $98.00 and has done a great job. steve

    3 point caddy, anybody ever built one?

    I made a cat 0 unit to pull with a lawn tractor, used with a back blade and it worked well. Had a manual lift, used it to grade drive. steve
