    801 Diesel turbo?

    Kirk,I have never heard of this tractor,its wild!I am sure it was a one of a kind experimental prototype. Do you have any more information,such as the engine or any other details?I would appreciate any info if you do. Thank you.

    Dean, I would say you are right,considering the light connecting rod they have. Also I have heard of crankshafts breaking too. Oh well just a thought,crazy ideas come around on these long winter days. CABIN FEVER---AAH.

    Has anyone ever done or considered putting a turbo on a 801 diesel? Maybe from a 3930 or similar cubic inch size engine.

    4WD axle

    I am trying to remove the trunion pins on the steering knuckle to replace the bearings.this is on an Oliver 1365 this tractor is basicaly a Long tractor. they seem to be really stuck,any ideas? Thank you.

    I am trying to remove the trunnion pins on an Oliver 1365 that holds the steering knuckle on.I am posting this on here because these tractors are basicaly Long tractors.I have soaked with PB-Blaster,tried driving a chisel under the edge,wont move,any ideas on how to loosen them? Thank you.

    I am trying to remove the trunion pin on the steering knuckle to replace bearings, can not get pins out.Does anyone know how to get them out?I have soaked with PB-Blaster,tried driving chisel under the edge,beating with a hammer, all to no avail. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

    So. sounds like wood chips are out.Any ideas for what they would be good for, got about ten loads where I chipped a bunch of limbs.

    I have been thinking about trying that too.But I was considering rolling out the bale in one layer,then add a layer of wood chips,then a layer of manure.And maybe working it up with a tractor tiller.How do you think that would work?

    I have a M-H 82 combine that is in good condition except that the grain pan has some small rust holes in it. Not a real problem on larger grains like oats or barley, but with wheat I am losing quite a bit falling down on the fan housing.I am sure it is not available new,any suggestions on how to...

    Thanks guys,Barley is what I was thinking too.As to Bobs question winter varietys work better for me,usually still too wet in the spring when it needs planting.Winter variety seems to be ready a little earlier,allowing more time for me to double crop with millet and blackhaybeans for hay cutting.

    I have been raising oats and some wheat,feeding the grain to my sheep and square baling the straw to sell. I was thinking about trying barley,here in east Tn barley costs $2.50 more per bu.than oats not that much money for the amount that I use, but which would make better feed and/or straw...
