    Napa has priced them selfs out of my business. For example i have a 49 8n front dist. Oil filter at napa 29.00. Ordered here for 5.00. Guy behing counter actually said if i applied for an account he could give me 40 percent off. Even then too high. Its oder good parts here or nothing.

    Be carefull about the new coil. If its tractor supply (china) chances are its bad. DONT ASSUME the new part is working. Check it out to be sure.

    Dell i have done this when it stops. Good gas. No spark or very little. And guage does wiggle. Replaced points, cond, coil and just now ordered new wiring harness and plug wires from here.     Ok about had it. Runs for about 30 mins and quits. No spark. Bought new coil and nothing changed. Again new points and condensor and gapped right. Right before it quits (under load) it sputters and pulling choke out helps for a second then dies. No spark. Getting new wires ordered today. Will...

    Starting problem Ford 8n Tractor

    Compression check is very important. Went thru same thing. Someone suggested pull starting it and it fired right up. Also found that the wire coming from battery to starter (negative) looked good but changed to a #2 on both sides of battery and it came alive.

    Thanks guys. The mower is fine. spins freely and in great shape. I will try to check plugs today. No rain and that big orange thing is up in the sky. Havent seen it for a while so forgot its name. Hope it is plug wires but will find out today.
