    Propane

The companies in my area "trade" tanks all of the time, if the tanks are still in good shape. We've switched companies, and they said they just pay the old company for the tanks.

    full set of 30's

Here's my old man's collection of Wheatland 30's he's got (minus the 530 that didn't make it in the pic). He's also got a full collection of row crop 30's too (plus extras). Bonus: his 195 with the sickle mower in the front.

    Old antifreeze

Some Auto parts places will take antifreeze. I've most recently taken mine to VIP Auto (part of O'Reilly's) in town to get rid of mine.

    Case 310G Diesel Dozer

You're safest with the 310G Diesel, compared to earlier 310s. They made as many 310G's as all of the earlier models combined. You can get new rollers straight from Case, for instance, but some other parts you'll have to find used. The engine is straight from the tractors, so parts for that...

    Case 310c Exhaust Elbow

Just to verify, you have an early model 310C without the eyebrows? The one where the lights mount on top of the like rabbit ears? If so, it's really hard to find that elbow. The elbow you received is most likely the one that goes to the tractors. By shoving the 148 under the tin made for...

Case terratrac 310 photos and questions

With the non-eyebrow styling with the Case engine, it was built between '57-'59. That's about all the more I can say with certainty. It's either a 320 Utility or a 310C Utility, depending on the year. I'm guessing it's a 310C utility. Early on, they made a lot of changes, sometimes mid-year...

Case terratrac 310 photos and questions

Those rods are just to support the counterweight. Everything on the top half of the dozer is sheet metal, so it has to mount towards the top of the frame. It's the two holes just behind and below the driveshaft tubes. Here's a photo of the counterweight and mounting frame. Also a photo of...

By the way, here's a pic of what your dozer looked like brand new.

Case terratrac 310 dash board question

It's the hour meter that goes in the hole on the right. The left opening is actually empty on my dozer. Later 310 dozers got rid of that far left opening altogether, so maybe we're supposed to have an empty opening there. Those 3 small holes in the center should be (top to bottom) the key...

Case terratrac 310 photos and questions

These dozers had 3 holes across the front there: the LH one is for the exhaust, the center one is for the engine cover breather, and the right one is for the air cleaner. That plate on the engine is what the air cleaner attaches to. I'm looking for one of these for my dozer, myself. They tend...

    Help identifying this case dozer

If you're new to YT, then you have to post at least 5 times before the site will let you post pictures. You can post on the "test" forum until the pictures show up, then come back here and post the pictures.

    Case Terratrac Headlights

Here's a pic of the brochure that matches what you're describing. The rebranded Terratrac models had the headlights out the top of the hood. These were only sold this way for a couple of years before they changed the tin to the eyebrow styling to match the tractors.

    Case Terratrac fuel pump question

Yes, the early 310's had an electrical fuel pump under the tank (Case part #36100 for the 6V pump). This was replaced by a mechanical pump off the engine when they switched to the eyebrow styling.

Case Terratrac - question on battery

Mine has the 6V battery in the passenger arm rest, but it was a partial resto about 10 years before I bought it. The parts manual for the pre-eyebrow 310C and 320 shows it sitting in the engine bay area, based on where it sits on the electrical wiring page. The eye-brow 310's (very late 310C...

    oh boy...truck shopping time

I worked with a number of vehicles working in the auto industry in Detroit. It's amazing how much better newer vehicles are than ones made 10-20 years ago. It sounds like you need a half-ton pickup, based on your towing needs. As others have said, for capability, the 3.5L EcoBoost F150 is...
