$50? Along with the gaskets I've got. Not sure what shipping would cost though. I think it may fit in a large priority box.

I was not aware there was another item. When I bought it, it was just the "thang" to me, but looking back at emails, it was the "3 point jig". Sorry all!

I bought it November 2017. Is that "late model"? I can email you a photo of it, if you'd like.

I sold my tractor and I have a Zane Sherman 3 point jig and some various hydraulic related gaskets laying about. Would anyone have interest in purchasing such a thing? Sorry to bring this up here, but I just wanted to see if there was interest here before moving to the classifieds, being...

Variation on ye olde No Start/No Spark question

Well, Took everything off again and the new coil gasket wasn't the right size. Looked like it kept the secondary tab from making it to the distributor cap. I trimmed it down some and put it back on. Started up right away! Between the new points and plugs it started up faster than ever...

Variation on ye olde No Start/No Spark question

Being I get a low of 10.7volts, what does that mean? I did not see it jump back up, maybe because of my meter. I assume the low is when the coil is loading up, no?

Variation on ye olde No Start/No Spark question

Right, that's what was puzzling me. The thing is I was using the continuity test as well and I didn't think about a resistance limit for that function. On my meter its 210 ohms, so it wouldn't have registered for the secondary side. I thought maybe I found something. Oh well.

Variation on ye olde No Start/No Spark question

May I ask something, just so I'm clear? There should be about 1 ohm from the top of the coil to the primary (pigtail) and around 8K from the top to the secondary? And there should be continuity ONLY between the top and the primary, NOT top and secondary, correct?

Variation on ye olde No Start/No Spark question

I'm sorry, I forgot you mentioned an analog voltmeter. That I don't have. All I could see on my meter was around 10.7 volts when cranking. I caught something around 8 at one point, but generally it stayed at 10.7

Yes, I have a multimeter and have used it. I hope you tell me something I haven't tried! I will say I have checked various things per this March topic, mostly stuff from Bruce (VA), and things checked out...
