    Just got done with 1st cutting hay. Im having some issue with my thrower. I have standard 9x18 wagons and I have to run the valve all the way up all the time.     That crossed my mind. But looking in my manual it shows the axle shaft being pressed out of the housing ..and it seems like it would be hard to do with the center casting still on the axle

    I actually bought one from steiners.. the old one was copper. I just didn't know if I was trying to route it wrong. I should have installed it prior to everything else.. I looked in the parts manual but it doesnt show if its below or above the steering motor

    Ok so I installed the pump at 4° then turned engine over two revolutions and had to turn the pump to align the timing window, my pump isnt out of adjustment but its close. could there be something off with the pump itself? I also tried it at tdc and same thing

    Thanks for the info guys, one more question since I have an updated style pump, does it still utilize the spring that goes under the drive lug? It didnt have one one i took it out but noticed it in the parts manual
