    Get the tractor serial number if you can as there were changes throughout VA series production. Actually, if I read your original post correctly, all you need is the nut that screws into the end of the drag link and that never changed.

    I found that hole in my parts book but it does not show a plug. As for the fan belt. it's quite a job to tighten. You need to disconnect the upper radiator elbow from the cylinder head and loosen the two bolts at the bottom which hold the radiator tight to the front casting. Tip the radiator...

    500 Fuel Pump

    The seal in my pump is letting fuel into the crankcase. Can the seal be changed by taking the side cover off or does the pump need to be sent to a pump shop?
