    Surely someone knows ?

Thank you very very much responders. That is fantastic to know. By the way, I mistakenly just thought it looked like a roof over a house so looked at that way. And in seven plus decades had not heard of Woodings Verona Tool Works. Now I'm off to learn more about who they were. I love history...

    Surely someone knows ?

I've got two hand tools. One is is a pointy type of sledge hammer 6 Lbs. with chipped head. The other is a Grub hoe with an Adze style tapered handle. What interests me is two unrelated tools with the same makers mark that I haven't a clue what it is. All I can make out is a Diamond, an "M"...

    TO-30 You won't believe this!

I have a 6V TO-30. So I gotta ask if yours is converted to 12V. I read somewhere of folks converting but using the 6V starter. Mine is 70 YO and the starter ain't blowed up yet, but it's 6V.

    NAA Vane prime ?

Thanks Thanks all for you comments. You guys are super and a wealth of knowledge. I'll be putting oil in the Hyd. Resv. soon and throw some gas in and see if it will start. It's been a long twelve year journey so far and I can finally see light at the end of the tunnel. As for the...

Thanks Sean in PA Engine has been completely renewed at machine shop, except for rocker assy and water pump. Break in oil installed. One of these days soon I plan to first time start it before installing hood and fenders. I may even do it without coolant just to see if it will pop. 12...

    NAA Vane prime ?

Lots of posts here on vane pumps and priming and it seems the consensus is pressurize through dip stick while running engine. Is there any other method such as pressurizing while cranking only ? Reservoir has been empty, tubes clean and empty and vane pump on the shelf wrapped up for...

    Can this Radiator Be Fixed?

Years ago at a Rad shop in my local town I watched a repair where they used a liquid acid and a brush and a rose bud type gas flame to do their soldering. I'm pretty sure you can straighten that up then use heavy solder, flame, and acid to resolder it. It needs to be very clean too.

    Battery

I'd really like to offer immediate help, but sadly operator error & batteries sometimes produce needful corrective measures. If your electric grid is Stable, invest in a Battery Tender for your new battery and be happy for the next seven years. A Phd. with a doctorate in Battery Chemistry...

    Ford NAA engine oil pump

My 2 Since the pan was off you no doubt got the pump pickup tubes correct ? I'm pretty sure they only go on or fit one way. Also without doubt the drain plug screen is clean ? and oil level is correct too. I also believe turning the oil pump with the drill motor should show pressure as...

    Ford NAA engine oil pump

Hi JMOR I hope this isn't considered a hijack, but when I did similar to barnerr with a new pump in a complete restored 134 and started to spin the pump thru Dist., oil gushed out the opening. I had to take a Crutch Tip w/drilled hole and pressed it into Dist. hole and was then able to...
