ford 3000 timing
I chased timing on my 3000 over and over, and though it would start, it would snuff out on any kind of load. It turned out to be a gummed up carbuerator and it was running extremely lean. I got a cheap carb off Amazon, and it solved the problem, though you have to set the float level on those...- tychoaussie

Ford 3000 Clutch issues
I just checked, and what I have is a hand fabricated farm-welded arm onto a stub of what might have been a clutch lever. It looks rather ugly, but seemed to work on the clutch ok; I can see about maybe drilling a second hole? I better research it first, to measure the current hole spacing, I guess.- tychoaussie

Ford 3000 Clutch issues
I too, have PTO issues. When the clutch is fully pushed in, I cannot engage the PTO with the bush hog attached, as it just tries to grind gears. Then, when the engine is off, I can engage, and re-start the engine (albeit with difficulty), and the tractor will spin up the bush hog, and shift /...- tychoaussie

Ford 3000 gasser petcock and fuel pump thread pitch size..
1/2-20 thread on the fuel line fitting. I think it appears to be a AN-5 female on the fuel shutoff. I know a 5/16 double flare doesn't work, so I haven't solved it yet. AN-5 male fittings are super scarce. Getting one with a barb looks to be impossible. Maybe one that goes to a 1/8 male npt will...- tychoaussie
