    Cyclic noise from front hydraulic pump

    Case 411 tire size

    my case 410 wide front has 7.50-16's in the front and 18.4-30's in the rear. Don't think they're original, but steers fine without power steering.

    Buddy was rebuilding motor in SC case. Sent the head out to be re-surfaced. Put it together and couldn't get any oil up to the rockers. The mice got in and completely filled the oil pan with corn and other junk!! Glad we still had the valve cover off when we started it the first time and...

    Walk behind tractor

    My Dad paid $150 for his a few years back. It came with a single bottom plow, disc, cultivator, and a 3 foot snow blade. Motor was bad so he swapped it with a 5 horse briggs and stratton. It works great in his garden. We used to use it to skid small logs out of the woods too.

    my '47 VAC is 5 foot ten inches wide, with 10-28 tires.

    Propane tank for air?

    I use a 100# propane tank for air in my shop, and a 20# portable air tank. The safety's on propane tanks are rated to release at 250# pressure, however I wouldn't recommend filling one to that, especially if its old and pitted.

    tractor tire tread direction

    A buddy of mine bought a case SC a couple years ago and one of the rear tires was backwards, the tread faced the wrong way. We didn't think much of it untill I bought a SC last fall. One rear tire on mine was backwards too. Was there a reason for that? We were thinking maybe for cultivating?

    semi-portable chicken coop

    How many chickens do you plan on raising? I built my coop out of an old camper trailer. I think it's 8x20. Pulled out the sink, cabinets, refridgerator, etc. and built roosts and nesting boxes inside. 20 chickens fit in there without crowding.

    It's how you say it.

    Up here in michigan, there are signs before some bridges that read, (bridge may be icy). They are up all year, and kind of funny seeing that when it's 90 degrees in august!
