    Tire chains

Sean, I have my tires out and a real heavy duty set of skidder chains and have no problem. If you don't have any special reason to keep your tires "in" then move them "out" and you will feel more comfortable and safe with them out, that is if you use it in off road situations. Be safe and have...

    8N RIM/TIRE QUESTION

Dan, you/ve received some very good advice. I run both my 9N's with the wheels spread out as far as possible and I can relate to you that is is more comfortable and gives a person a more stable feeling. I use both of them in the woods, making food plots both of which gets us in rough ground and...

Wow, and we still have approximately 1 to l 1/2 ft. on the ground in the sunny areas, more in the woods of course and another ft. expected during the next couple of days. We are in a winter storm watch as I write this. Ron

OT: what to do about unwelcomed 4-wheeler riders

Pete. I was lucky and let the 4 wheelers know I didn't want them on the property and they quit. You've got a serious problem. I use game cameras at my camp and they work good. Cablea's and Gander Mtn.have Infared digitel cameras on sale right now for $119. The flash because it's infared does not...

    OT: Low slope roof options

Dukester. I put a rubber roof over a sun room to build a deck on top of it about 20 years ago.Still going strong, no leaks and it was very easy to put down and glue where it needed it. I just layed it down and fastened it all the way around at the edges. If you do use rubber you may want to...

    What blade do I get?

Troy, I have a 7ft and a 5Ft back blade. The 5 was given to me and the 7 came with the first 9N I bought. The 7 has it all over the 5. My 7 turns all the way around. It depends on how the top link is adjusted. I have my tires all the way out for additional stability and have no problem turning...

    Bad day on rebuild

Common guys, get several pairs of heavy leather gloves and wear holes in them and not your skin. I'm using my Milwaukee grinder with a wire buffing wheel more and more. Safer. Ron

    Gary’s axel scared me

TX,I've only done one on a 9N and it wasn't that big of job. Got lucky the old bushing just fell out nicely. Replace bushing, pin cleaned everything up and quick primer and paint, took about 3-4 hours at the most. If it needs it, don't wait, your just doing more damage by waiting. Ron

Maybe time for a vertical exhaust

Farmer B, I use my 9N"s in the woods a lot and was consistantly repairing the muffler and clamps. I converted to a glass pack muffler because they have rounded edges and built stronger. Have a 45 Degree bend at the end that can be turned in any direction getting the exhaust away from behind the...

When I was pumping Zepher gas in high school during 53 an older fellow came in and said I'll take one.
