    One for the trailer guys

On over the road trailers it's called an equalizer. And yes, there is weight on it. You will need to jack the trailer up enough to unload the pressure.

Volvo truck will not shut off

I have a break down of the shut down system. It's parts only and not service. I can email it but I haven't made enough posts to add a picture to this reply.

How to wire ignition (not a tractor)

Yes, all the dual coils for dual plugs I have ever ran were wired in series. Has something to do with the total ohms. Depending on what brand of coils you have I guess. If they are Dyna you can go to Zippers Performance and look at the coils. They kind of explain what's going on. I could send...

So if cold thick oil can be a problem, would emptying it out and unplugging it in the winter (cabin situation) cause any other problems?

    Stuck brake adjuster

Thanks for the replies. The tractor is about a hundred miles from here, out in the boonies. All I had was a couple of screw drivers. I will take a spoon with me and try that. It turned loosely but just wouldn't back off, that's why I asked about self adjusting. Matt

    Stuck brake adjuster

Are they self adjusting? Do I have to move a lever out of the way?

    Stuck brake adjuster

I got a flat on my '58 641 and since I had the wheel off I decided to check the brakes. The drum was loose but would not clear the shoes, so I turned the brake aduster a few turns. But the wrong way. Now the drum's tight and I can't get the adjuster to turn the other way. Any suggestions?
