    Air filter media material question.

    cellulose is wood pulp fiber, enhanced probably means it also has fiberglass or polyester fibers as reinforcement. Any filter, look for particle size efficency (can't spell that word). that means largest particle size that will get thru and what % will be filtered out.

    VAC muffler

    I have had the same muffler for 30+ years, no rot. I do tie either a gallon plastic milk jug or cranberry juice bottle over the top every time i shut it off.

    12 volt is fine as long as you change the generator to 12 volt (better yet 1 wire alternator). Change light bulbs to 12 volt. I also put a 250 chevy 6 cylinder condenser in the distributor - not sure if it is necessary but that's what i do. Also I THINK original 6 volt is positive ground, when...

    Can you help me ID the year on my VAC Case?

    My 50 has no torque tube hydraulic filter, your tractor does and it has disc brakes. My 50 has disc brakes. I have 2 early 51's and both have drum brakes. So I will slightly alter my statement, either late 50 or very early 51
