    all good points. i'll only add (knowing the OP has already decided against purchase) that the step-through 730 loader on my 8n works well. i don't use it for much gravel work, but i bought it primarily to move snow from my driveway, and it does that very well (and has done for over 10 years)...

    used the 2n & wagner to load the "mobile" sap tank onto the truck so i can collect sap tomorrow... sure beats trying to manhandle the tank up onto the dump floor of the truck, which is almost 4' off the ground...

    i know, right? except that i can look out at my yard, and see 3 years worth of cordwood sitting there, waiting to be burned. one year's worth is about to move to the woodshed, and 2 years worth are split (ha ha) between already stacked and log-length. i like to be about 1-1/2 to 2 years ahead.

    this is the case, which is dopey. the reason for the dispute was the misleading or lying by the seller about the item. just because the dispute sees a resolution (refund/etc) doesn't mean that feedback shouldn't be possible; how better to warn potential future bidders/buyers about the shady...

    to be sure, if i lived in a relatively flat location, i would drive the tractor a bit further. but, central NH is not generally flat for any long distance. anything more than about 3 miles and i'm putting the tractor on the trailer and towing it to the destination. 12 miles in any direction...
