    Finally found the meter stem for my B model Zenith carb, Thanks to Jeremy in Indiana who referred me to McDonald"s Carbs down in Georgia who had it. Thanks for all the input and help from this board. Walt/Tx

    I checked both the basic kits and the "comprehensive" kits, not there. It is a Zenith 52499D/9167 carb. I don"t know how somebody broke it in two and then was able to get it out but they did. When I was handed the carb the stem was tied onto it with a wire. Walt

    thanks. How do you guys generally haul them...take the wheels/tires off? Our trailers are standard width, haul Ford N"s and my Jubilee no problem, but this B is too wide. Like I said, never messed with a B model before, but we are going to restore this one if we ever get it to the shop. Walt

    BIL inherited a 1939 B, family tractor bought new by his grandpa in 1939 supposedly...I have no experience with this model....he went to get it and it is too wide for a normal trailer and the rears appear to be non-adjustable.....I have not seen it myself yet but was there a non-adjust B model...
