    550 backhoe

    I have a 550 with a Sherman 1258 backhoe,can I rebuild the rear spools is there parts available ? I was told you have to get the old spools rehoned or the will still leak if you only replace the O-rings, does anybody sell replacement spool banks for the back THANKS

    I thought the censors were in the valve stems, changing tires, shouldn't matter.

    I have a 1960 oliver ind. with a sherman 1258 back hoe. it works great but leaks a lot, can the rear spools be rebuilt, are there parts available? I have been told that if I rebuild it it will still leak.any help or ideas..THANKS

    I have a oliver 550 gas backhoe 1960, my problem it sputters and misses when it is not under load, when it is working and pulling it runs good. I have looked at carb & dist with no luck, put new plugs in........thanks wayne
