    49 WD rebuild, looking at options

    never had a pto gear box problem with my wd that has the wd45 power pack kit in it. the small upper block deck cracks are no problem. but any cracks on the bottom between the sleeves is a problem.

    8 volt instead of 12 volt on cub/super a

    OLD, read the owners/shop manual on your tractors, it will state that the light bulds will handle 6 or 8 volts. as for charging 8 volt battery just set the generator out put up a couple of amps.i charge my 8 volts with a standard 6 volt charger.
