    9n - Head and Block Water Jackets Blocked - Normal?

    I had the head off a 49 8n and two holes in the front of the block and head had been filled with metal of some sort. Not bolt holes. It puzzled me but left it alone. No ill effects.

    I bought this tractor the weekend after Thanksgiving. It looked pretty rough but ran fairly well considering that the front mount distributor cap was cracked and no gaskets had been used on the distributor.
