Generator starts but backfires.
Well shucks. I guess I need to drain the bowl. Only had one generator since 2007. Bought the other one in 2012 or so. Never did more than turn gas off at shut down and let engine run until it quits. Both are electric start. One 5000 and one 7500. Both start by turning on gas. Count to 10... -

Generator starts but backfires.
Use nothing but ethanol based gas here. 2 generators, garden tiller, lawn mower and 2 old tractors. I do pour stabil in them at end of season. Run the generators at least every 2 months and always run them dry when shutting off. Never had a problem with gas. I do buy from a well known station... -
Farmall M transmission locked up?
Agree. Sounds more like hung in 2 gears. Very sporadic in information.- wh

Farmall M transmission locked up?
When mine went a roller fell out and jammed the constant mesh. Actually broke couple teeth off of mesh gear. It locked it tight.- wh

Current Update on Poison Hemlock investigation.
Have sprayed p and d several years. Have never killed trees around the edge. Even tank mixed remedy to kill volunteer gum trees in the grassland. And sprayed at full rate.- wh

Remedy Sweet Corn
Grew g90 for years. Great corn. Last I planted just did not do what it should. Seed store told me to try Honey Select last year. Fabulous. Very easy to silk and makes a nice size ear. Great flavor.- wh

String trimmer.
There is a big difference in string. Bought some a few years ago that even had tiny barbs on it. Do not remember brand but it is good. -
